Carburetor

CIC offers a full range of services which include rebuild, replacement and tuning.

We offer carryout rebuild service as well on Holley, Quadrajet, Rochester 4-Jet, and Carter WCFB/AFB.

Engine & Exhaust

We offer a full range of engine services including complete rebuilds, replacement, cam replacement, top end work, intake and carburetor upgrade, custom headers and exhaust systems. We can do everything from restorative rebuild for your "correct" car, up to any level of power and performance you'd like.

Vintage Air

Update your vintage ride with air conditioning from Vintage Air. Whether your factory AC is not cutting it, or you want to add AC to a car not optioned with it, Vintage Air will offer modern HVAC quality in any application. We offer competitive pricing on carryout systems, or complete installation service as well.

Distributor

The best way to adjust timing is to remove the distributor and place it in a distributor machine. The vacuum as well as the centrifugal advance can be finely adjusted for peak performance which will increase gas mileage. CIC can finely tune dwell, advance curve, and vacuum advance for optimal performance. We offer carryout distributor rebuild, repair, and tuning as well.

Axle & Suspension

CIC specializes in ensuring your classic drives as good as it looks. Regardless of your preference for full factory or customizing your driveline and suspension we can advise on best configuration to exceed your expectations. We offer full chassis restoration, control arm rebuild service, trailing arm and wheel bearing rebuild service, differential overhaul and repair, and anything else you can dream.

Ignition

Optimal performance of your Corvette or late model muscle includes proper grounding, spark plug selection and installation, wiring and computer control systems. CIC has the expertise to ensure long term reliability.

Oil & Fluids

Central Iowa Corvette is your shop for routine maintenance. Classic cars are more susceptible to premature wear and can benefit from products like Amsoil's Z-ROD engine oil, which has a high-zinc formulation to better protect against dry starting or prolonged storage, especially in engines with flat-tappet cams.

Belts & Hoses

Keep your ride looking and performing its very best by replacing cracked or brittle hoses. CIC will provide period correct hoses and belts and ensure fluids stay in your car and not on your floor. We can correct misalignment issues from incorrect accessory drive installation as well as proper belt length and type. If you want to change over to serpentine type system we can do that too.

Interior & Audio

CIC specializes in period correct restoration of seats, carpets, dash, console, mechanical and electronic accessories, instrumentation and lighting. We are a TMI Interiors Distributor as well as OE replacement seat covers and foam. We also offer a full line of period correct audio or can upgrade your system to accommodate modern conveniences like Bluetooth, subwoofers, amplifiers, and speakers.
